The Pachacamac Sanctuary Site Museum is one of the 52 museums of the Ministry of Culture; was founded in 1965 by Arturo Jiménez Borja with the aim of preserving and exhibiting the archaeological material recovered during the excavations carried out by national and foreign researchers.
It can be seen in the historic center of Lima: the Plaza de Armas with the Cathedral, the Sagrario chapel, the Archbishop's Palace, the Church of Santo Domingo, and the convent of San Francisco.
The San Francisco Convent and Catacombs Museum is part of the San Francisco de Jesús el Grande Monumental Complex, which was founded by Fray Francisco de la Cruz, in the year 1546.
